About
Dr. Nishi received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Cornell University with a minor in Cognitive Science. Her research involves second language acquisition and Japanese linguistics with emphasis on cross-linguistic analysis. She holds an M.A. in teaching Japanese as a foreign language from Ochanomizu University, and has taught Japanese at universities in the U.S., Australia, and Japan. .
