I received an M.A. in Foreign Language Education and Research from Kansai University, Japan, specializing in Japanese and English Language education. My research interests include language pedagogy and second language acquisition, focusing on pronunciation, listening, and vocabulary.

As for teaching, I obtained the Advanced Teachers’ Certificate of English for Japanese Middle and High School Students in 2022. I also completed a Postgraduate Certificate Course in Japanese Language Teaching in 2022.

As for practical experiences, I worked as a part-time instructor teaching English language at Kansai University Dai-ichi Junior High School in 2022. Additionally, I volunteered as a conversation partner for Japanese language learners in Japanese Language and Culture Program Preparatory Course at Kansai University and language exchange sessions at University of Central Lancashire, UK. I have just joined the Emory Faculty in the 2022- fall semester as an instructor.
