The United States Department of State is pleased to announce the scholarship competition for the 2012 Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program for overseas intensive summer language institutes in thirteen critical need foreign languages. CLS institutes provide fully-funded group-based intensive language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences for seven to ten weeks for U.S. citizen undergraduate and graduate students. Students may apply for one language, and will be placed at institute sites based on language evaluations after selection.
Languages offered: Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla/Bengali, Chinese, Hindi,
Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Turkish, and Urdu.

Boren Awards for International Study
Applications for the 2012 - 2013 David L. Boren Scholarships and Fellowships are available now. Boren Awards provide funding for U.S. undergraduates and graduates interested in international study.
CIPA Semester Study Abroad Travel Grant
Emory students currently receiving financial aid through Emory's Office of Financial Aid may submit an application for the travel grant. The grant can be used to offset airfrare and other travel-related expenses for an Emory-approved semester or summer program abroad.
EMORY RUSSIAN STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP
Emory undergraduates are invited to apply for our Russian Studies Scholarship. Awarded twice per academic year, Russian Studies Scholarships are intended to support study abroad in Russia through an Emory or Emory-approved program.
