About
I received my Ph.D. in May 2020 from the Institute of Liberal Arts, an interdisciplinary program in the Laney Graduate School at Emory University. I earned a BA and an MA in Art History at Georgia State University. I was awarded a Piedmont Fellowship in Sustainability for the 2018-19 academic year, and I also work as the Senior Academic Degree Program Coordinator for the Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures Department at Emory.
I have taught several iterations of Twentieth-Century Visual Culture (IDS 216W) and have offered a special topics class through the interdisciplinary studies program (IDS 385 Sound and Vision: Art and Music as Technologies of Environmental Activism), IDS 220: What Does It Mean to Be Human?, and CPLT 202W Thinking with Fungi: Literature and Ecomedia in Conversation.
