About:
I am Qiong Le, and for the past 20 years I have been working in the field of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. I earned the title of Associate Professor in China in 2010. I have experience teaching Chinese language to students ranging from teenagers to adults from more than 40 countries. I always bring my energy and passion for teaching to every school I work in. I try to balance and develop the learner's listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills with pedagogically designed classroom activities applied in my class. I try to have my students fully motivated and engaged to enjoy learning.
During the years of 2011 - 2013 and 2016 - 2018, I worked in China's Confucius Institute Headquarters at Emory. From 2019 to March of 2022, I worked for the Ministry of Education of United Arab Emirates, teaching Chinese. I currently work part time as Curriculum Director for Chinese Cultural School of Atlanta. At Emory, I teach Chinese 202 and 203.
