JPN 301 Student Haiku

Students of JPN 301 collaborated with Emory jazz students for  Haiku Jazz Evening on October 5, 2023. Students prepared by taking a moment to connect with nature before artistically expressing what they felt. On the day of the event, Japanese 301 students recited their haikus before the accompanying jazz compositions were performed based on their poems. Mizuki Mazzotta and Gary Motley were the event organizers.
