Students Learn Traditional Korean Drums

Students enrolled in our Korean language classes meet throughout the semester at the Korean Conversation Table to practice their speaking skills with one another. They were in for a treat this April, when they were invited to attend a special musical event! Musicians from Korean music collective Sorinuri demonstrated traditional instruments including Gayagguem, Haeguem, and Daeguem (above). Students then tried their hands at playing Chang-gu (below).
