I received my BA in English Language and Literature from Beihang University in Beijing China, and MA in Applied Linguistics from Texas Tech University. Since 2005, I have been teaching Mandarin Chinese at various institutions across the United States including East Tennessee State University where I worked as a full-time Chinese instructor for eight years, teaching Mandarin Chinese at all levels and culture classes. Additionally, I created Chinese minor program at ETSU.
