Biography
Qiong Le is a Chinese language educator with more than 20 years of experience in Chinese language teaching and cultural education. She has taught Chinese at Emory University across multiple levels, from beginning to advanced courses, and has worked extensively with both heritage and non-heritage learners.
Her teaching interests include Chinese as a Foreign Language (CFL), heritage language pedagogy, communicative and task-based language teaching, and the integration of language and culture. She is also experienced in curriculum development, instructional design, and experiential learning.
Le has taught and developed Chinese language programs in the United States, China, and the United Arab Emirates. Her professional experience includes teaching Chinese for the UAE Ministry of Education and working in curriculum development and Chinese language education in diverse educational settings. She is committed to creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences that connect language learning with Chinese culture.
