Shih-I WuFulbright Language Teaching Assistant

I received my B.A. in applied English from the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism. After graduating from college, I worked as a full-time English teacher in Joy English. Joy English is one of the largest market-scale English cram schools in Taiwan.

In 2021, I obtained the certificates of TCSOL and TQUK in teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages. In 2022, I volunteered as a Chinese teacher in the Overseas compatriot culture and education foundation. I taught Mandarine Chinese to the students from FGS Mabuhay Temple in the Philippines. Moreover, I applied for the Fulbright program in 2022, and I was selected as a Fulbrighter from Taiwan in 2023. Thus, I will be an FLTA and one of Emory College’s faculty from August 2023 to May 2024.
