About:
Yichun Xu received her Master in modern Chinese literature from the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at the Ohio State University. She is currently a doctoral candidate at OSU and writing a dissertation on Wu topolect literature in Late Qing and Republican China. She is co-translator of “Which Classic (ch. 1),” the first chapter of a ten-chapter comic novella by the late Qing writer Zhang Nanzhuang.
Before joining Emory Chinese program, she taught Chinese language courses of all levels to a diverse student body at the Ohio State University and Georgetown University.
