Research is a central component of most courses in REALC, and is a major focus of our faculty.
Find out about what we do, and how you can join us in making and documenting new discoveries about the world.

Our courses invite students to learn about and join scholarly conversations about the topics we explore. 
REALC can help you can acquire research skills and develop your professionalism:
  • take our courses with Continuing Writing (CW), Intercultural Communication (IC),or  Race and Ethnicity (ETHN) tags
  • attend our guest lectures to find out about the newest approaches and findings
  • write an Honors thesis 
  • present a paper at our annual Undergraduate Research Symposium
  • do research in your new language as part of Education Abroad
  • partner with a faculty member as part of the SIRE program or ForagerOne
  • get funding for international research with the Halle/FCHI grant
  • Connect with us via the Pathways Center
